We have hit a few milestones since I last posted, Dawson turned the big one year old on April 4th. We celebrated with Grandparents, and one set of Godparents. We enjoyed a taco bar feast, followed by cake and ice cream...yummm!! And for Dawson the cake was followed by a quick bath to wash the cake off :-) 
On Easter we spent a wonderful celebration with Chris's side of the family. It was a great day as my mom and dad joined us as well for dinner, and then after a nap, we spent the rest of the evening with some dear family friends. This is where Dawson amazed us and decided to take of crawling across the room...no hesitation what so ever!! Crazy kid, I thought for sure he would just go strait to crawling, now he is all over the place!

We had fun filled days with lots to do, went to a farmer's market, did some antiquing, and enjoyed a wonderful afternoon in the sun! The boys spent Saturday evening at dirt track car races...the highlight of the weekend for Chris! Us girls (and Dawson) enjoyed a relaxing evening chit chatting, and catching up. Sunday we had a great morning at the Como Zoo. Always fun to see God's amazing creatures, and watching Dawson's face light up...it was a blast!
After enjoying the 84 degree temps in the cities it was fun to come home and see many of my plants have started to show some true green...proof that Spring has sprung!!
