Chris's grandfather went to be with our Lord yesterday afternoon. After a very long fight in the end he finally let go. He was in his 90s and had lived a good life.
We will remember the witty jokes he would randomly tell, and how he could come off to be a crabby old man. Although many times he would let his "softer" side show. We loved listening to him talk about old stories, and show us his many antiques. He was a hard working man even up until this past year.
I pray that Grandma will continue to be strong during the heartache of losing her husband of so many years. God is certainly a gracious God, and we are praising him for giving us Grandpa O for such a long time.
