Fun Filled, Busy and 70 plus!

I am super excited, sad, and anxious! So many emotions!! This weekend I am taking a weekend to myself. Seems so strange! My brother in law (Chris's brother Ronald) is coming to Bemidji to help with a family project...being he will be here, I decided to take off tomorrow afternoon and head to the cities to spend a weekend with my dear sis in law Heidi. Here is the catch, I am going childless, and husbandless. All by myself (don't know if I know what that feels like anymore), but as bad as it may sound, really looking forward to a weekend of sleeping in, shopping, relaxing, visiting, with little responsibility. I know I am going to miss my boys terribly, but at the same time, will nice to have some me time....hope that doesn't sound selfish! Heidi (my sis in law) and I were taught to make pickles a few years ago, the yummy family recipe is great, so we are planning on fitting some pickle making in this weekend as well, and not to mention the best farmer's market ever! Should be fun, and I will sure be happy to see my boys when I return!!

More exciting news, Chris's family owns a beautiful 160 acres of land up North. We travel there every now and again, and the boys more than us. Before us, no one had stepped foot on the land in years. Since then, we have cut many trails, built a tiny bridge (over the stream/river) and put up many deer stands. We have wanted to build a cabin so we could have a mini get away, a place to relax in the dead quiet, but until now it was just a dream. However, last weekend we were blessed to find a little, cute, and affordable CABIN!!! The next step was finding someone to move it, and things falling into place, found a friend who will move it for just the cost of fuel. Thank you Lord!! I am so excited to have a place for our family to just get away to, do some 4-wheeling, walking, and relaxing. They will be moving the cabin this weekend, praying for a safe, quick and uneventful time with that!!

And finally 70 plus!!! We have been talking about how many words Dawson is saying now, talking like crazy! So, yesterday we decided to start a list of the words he is saying clearly. We are at 70 plus and counting! It is amazing how quickly he is learning, and excelling. Love that he can clearly communicate so many things now. So fun to watch him grow! We are sure blessed!!
